The
Wheel Assembly
Module (WAM™) is an intelligent modular
dual wheel drive assembly with a motorized
height adjusting system. The WAM uses
five motors and features some of our patent
pending technology. One motor for each wheel, one
for steering and two motors for height adjusting.
Installation is a simple bolt up,
and one electrical connection for power and
communications. With each wheel
independently driven, holonomic movement capabilities
are possible. The active suspension
uses an integral load cell which can provide for load an/or height control,
depending on the implementation. The
WAM uses modular construction and
implementation, with intelligent local CPU
control.
